The Southern Jutland Tattoo was presented for the first time in 1974 and since that the only annual tattoo in Denmark. The North Slesvig Tattoo is a military tattoo with a civil touch. Our military advisers are The Queen’s Artillery Regiment and the Home Guard. Every year bands and music corps participates from a number of different countries.

The garden of the Brundlund Castle provides a beautiful setting for the tattoo on Friday d.03/7 and Saturday d.04/7-09 evening. Both evenings will include an official salute.

It will be possible for the bands to practice on Friday which is also the day of the dress rehearsal.

Each of the participating bands are performing for approx. 10 minutes and all participants take part in the grand finale, featuring several hundred musicians from various nations performing beautifully together ending with the march out.
